Greetings Everyone:
What a great day to be in Idaho and what a great day to be a Gunfighter! Welcome to Mountain Home Air Force Base, home of the 366th Fighter Wing – “The Gunfighters”. On behalf of Silver Wings of Idaho, in conjunction with the men and women at Mountain Home Air Force Base, we are proud to bring you Gunfighter Skies 2008 “Patriots and Warriors United”.
The Silver Wings Board of Directors has worked tirelessly with the 366FW since last October to bring you a world class air show extravaganza. This weekend you will view our military’s power and might in both static displays and aerial demonstrations. You will witness first hand “shock and awe” as the Gunfighters simulate an airfield attack. You will see World War II vintage war birds flying in close formation with today’s supersonic aircraft.. You will see civilian and military performers performing precision aerobatic maneuvers. And finally on Sunday afternoon you will be thrilled and excited by the world famous U.S. Air Force “Thunderbirds”.
Silver Wings of Idaho is proud of our Air Force community and recognizes its important contribution to our nation’s defense and world peace.
